Teach Buenos Aires Program: Important Information
Our program is an immersive experience designed for native English speakers to teach English for 15 hours per week while engaging in 20 hours of intensive, university-level Spanish language study per week. Participants are required to commit to a minimum of 8 weeks.

Key Policies
- Code of Conduct & Community Respect: Participants must interact with courtesy, respect local culture, and refrain from any form of defamation. Disruptive behavior or being under the influence in class is strictly prohibited.
- Attendance & Punctuality: Consistent attendance is crucial. Excessive unexcused absences or tardiness may result in forfeited teaching time.
- National Holidays: We observe all Argentine national holidays. No teaching will occur on these days, and no refunds or rescheduling will be provided. Asynchronous Spanish learning activities will be offered.
- Accommodations: Shared accommodations in downtown Buenos Aires, typically with two other same-gender volunteers, are provided in exchange for teaching. Private rooms are not included but can be arranged for an additional fee.
- Background Check: A mandatory background check is required for all participants to ensure the safety and trust of our partner Argentine families and children.
- Health Requirement: A health statement or doctor's note confirming optimal health is required to ensure full participation in the intensive program.
- General Policies: We reserve the right of admission to maintain our program's standards.
