A Unique Cultural exchange opportunity
This is a fantastic opportunity for native English speakers to immerse themselves in our culture while supporting Argentinian local teachers. We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to teach English (15 hours per week) and, become immersed in the Buenos Aires culture. While you are here, you can learn Spanish (20 hours per week) during your stay. Spanish classes are essential for communicating effectively. These small-group classes are offered at a reasonable cost, included in the package, providing excellent value and significantly enhancing your experience. This structured approach, combining practical teaching with formal Spanish instruction, maximizes your personal and professional growth.
Program Start Dates
We are happy to welcome you to the Teach Buenos Aires program and provide the following information regarding our program start dates. We understand that effective planning is crucial, and we hope these details assist you in preparing for this enriching experience.

The 2026 calendar year will feature six sessions. The start and end dates for each session are as follows:
Session 1: February 2 through March 27
Session 2: March 30 through May 22
Session 3: May 26 through July 10
Session 4: July 13 through September 4
Session 5: September 7 through October 30
Session 6: October 26 through December 11
WHAT WE OFFER
Comfortable Accommodation: Enjoy a stay in our beautiful French-style house, safe building in downtown Buenos Aires, complete with Wi-Fi and all utilities.
Shared Accommodations with 2-3 other participants will be included during your stay.
Prime Location: Experience the best of Buenos Aires from our centrally located accommodation.
Spanish Immersion: 20 hours of Spanish classes per week (Mondays-Fridays). These classes will equip you to better understand your students and fully engage in the local culture.
Live on-site at the school, connect with locals, explore the city’s rich history and cuisine, and take Spanish classes all while sharing your English skills. Teach English and Immerse Yourself in Buenos Aires!
Our program offers English speakers a unique opportunity to teach English at our dynamic language school in the heart of Buenos Aires while fully immersing themselves in the local culture. This is a comprehensive cultural exchange program. Beyond teaching, our program encourages deep cultural immersion. You'll have the chance to live on-site, connect with locals, explore Buenos Aires's rich history and cuisine, and take Spanish classes. Experience the cosmopolitan city's welcoming atmosphere, exciting culture, and relatively affordable cost of living, all while contributing your English skills.
Main tasks
Responsibilities:
- Teach your own English classes in classrooms (in-person and online), weekly English lessons primarily for children and low-income communities (15 hours per week)
- Bring your laptop to teach some online classes
- Be available for communication from our administration.
- Assist Community English Volunteer projects at nearby community centers
- Provide English learning activities for children at local schools
- Respect our team and program rules.
- Learn Spanish in the mornings, 10.00 AM to 2.00 PM
- Teach English in the afternoons
Who can apply
Requirements
- Native English speaker (essential), at least 18 years old
- 2 Months minimum commitment
- Ability to enter Argentina on a tourist visa.
- Background Checks
- Medical certificate
- TEFL, CELTA, teaching degree, or similar certification is preferred (online TEFL in progress is also accepted).
- Laptop required.
- Available to start on a weekday morning (check-in Mondays 10 AM - 12 PM, check out is on Fridays from 12.00 to 3.00 PM).
- Professional, committed, and responsible.
- Willingness to engage with students and respond to administrative requests.
