Volunteers will build substantive leadership and instructional skills through direct, hands-on online teaching experience within a supportive international framework. You will be instructing highly motivated students who have voluntarily enrolled in the program, fostering an engaged, respectful, and rewarding teaching environment.

Prior teaching experience or Spanish proficiency is not a prerequisite. We welcome applications from both aspiring and seasoned educators who are passionate about cross-cultural exchange.

Professional & Academic Development: For individuals enrolled in higher education, this program may be eligible for academic credit through your university. Furthermore, for candidates in TEFL or TESOL certification programs, this experience may qualify as the required practicum component. Please consult with your academic institution for verification.

Eligibility Requirements

Prospective volunteers must meet the following criteria for consideration:

• Minimum age of 16 years.

• Possession of a high school diploma or its equivalent.

• A genuine interest in developing teaching and leadership competencies.

• Native or fluent English speaker.

• Proficiency in utilizing the Zoom video conferencing platform.

• Availability to commit to the entire program session.

• Ability to teach five days a week (Monday-Friday).

• Access to a computer or laptop with a functional camera and microphone.

• A stable, high-speed internet connection and reliable electricity.

• A quiet, professional environment from which to conduct lessons.
 

Program Logistics & Technical Specifications

Time Commitment: This volunteer position requires a commitment of 10 hours per week, allocated to two-hour teaching blocks, Monday through Friday.

Class Structure: The instructional format varies based on student needs and includes both private, one-on-one lessons as well as small-group classes.

Student Demographics: You will have the opportunity to teach a diverse range of students from Argentina and other Latin American nations, spanning various age groups from children to adults.

Technical Requirements:

• Internet Connection: A stable connection with a minimum download speed of 50 Mbps is required.

• Device: A computer or laptop equipped with a working camera and microphone.

• Platform: Zoom must be installed and fully functional on your device.

• Contingency: An Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) is required in areas prone to frequent power outages.

• VPN Policy: The use of a Virtual Private Network (VPN) is strictly prohibited during teaching sessions.
 

Program Policies

Attendance: In the event of an unavoidable absence, we require advance notification to facilitate the reassignment of your class. We maintain a policy of understanding for emergencies.

Certification: Upon successful completion of the program, you will be awarded two separate certificates: one recognizing your volunteer teaching service and another validating your completion of the online Spanish language course.
